PRIVATE CHEF, RECIPE DEVELOPER

Good food, made to be devoured and shared.

I’m a little obsessed with food — the kind of obsessed that has me thinking about the next meal before I’ve finished the last.

I'm a private chef and recipe developer based in Tauranga, working with clients across Aotearoa and internationally. I studied cuisine and pâtisserie at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, graduating with First Class Honours, before spending years cooking around the world — including on superyachts and for some very private, high-profile clients. While I'm land-based these days, my passport still gets a decent workout.

To me, food is connection, culture, creativity, and comfort. It brings people together, makes a house feel like home, transports you somewhere else, or just makes you feel really, really good.

My favourite part of the job isn't even the food — it's you. I'm interested not just in what you want to eat, but why: your preferences, routines, memories, and relationship with food. There's a psychology to feeding people well, and understanding that matters just as much as what happens in the kitchen. It's personal, and it makes cooking for people feel less like a job and more like getting to hang out and spoil someone with a bloody great meal.

My style is relaxed, elevated, and understated. Exceptional food, thoughtful service, and ingredients at their best: seasonal, local, and, wherever possible, sourced from the small producers behind them.
